Arguably the new top cafe in town
Clement at South Melbourne Market is the talk of the town. The pop-up is arguably in the prestigious list of top Melbournian coffee influencers. On the menu are two changing blends every week; one lighter and one darker, along with just a few baked sweets, to be enjoyed around outside tables or to be sipped while you cruise through the market.
The cafe is named "Clement" for a message. Just as Pope Clement VIII imported from the Middle East and spread the "bitter invention of Satan" in his domain in the 15th century, Melbourne's Clement is confident to influence our city, already full of picky coffee aficionados.
The flat white I had a few weeks ago had a distinct robust flavour I have never tasted anywhere else. This cafe has won popularity among market shoppers and coffee lovers who work or live nearby.
