The plot is very good. Children with chores learn responsibility. The pace is like that of a typical beginner reader's book. The action describes children cleaning all of the rooms of a house that need cleaning, which is a part of everyday life. The theme is learning responsibility at an early age which children can carry throughout life. The illustration is superb with the book not only telling children what chores are, but by showing.
