The Classic Cupcake Co is a recently opened cupcake business within the areas of Mosman. It offers a variety of unique flavours of cupcakes as well as cake pop classes.
This is a small modern cupcake store owned by founder, flavour designer Anna Eden. It offers a daily menu of cupcakes and cake pops made from the finest imported ingredients, from natural vanilla of Madagascar to 100% cocoa grown in the Venezuela.
For those of you who love chocolate, you'll understand how difficult it is to source 100% cocoa in your local supermarket. I was drawn to the store while searching for places to improve my current enthusiasm for cake pops.

Cake pops are often covered by candy melts and chocolate melts having a lot of unknown ingredients. Anna Eden uses Callebaut, a sustainably grown cocoa bean to cover and make the cake pops, so you can be sure that your eating anything but the finest.
One of the stores best sellers since opening would be the unique purple velvet and red velvet cupcakes. They also have a unique OOie selection with a soft middle filling that drizzles when you bite into the centre.
Cake pop classes Anna teachers the classes herself within the kitchen just behind the store front. The classes are small with a maximum of 10 people. All ingredients are provided on the day with a convenient fold up box to take home. I emphasize the box because of the long travel back home.
You are taught on the basics of decorating and preparing cake pop. Decorating with sprinkles, sherbets and chocolate toppings. After that, you have a two hour hands on experience to decorate the cake pops in any way you choose. Two hours later, you will pack home 6 cake pops as though it was bought from the store. I even got a certificate of completion after class. I'm sure everyone would like some recognition after such a detailed handling of food in 2 hours.
