Classic Cars and helping charity, why not come along
Sometimes you come across someone who just makes you smile and feel proud even if you don't know them. I felt just like this when I met Lachlan Vance. I am proud that they are youth today who care enough and are willing to selflessly make an effort in society to help and give to those who need it most.
Lachlan Vance, a 15-year-old high school student, is putting together a "Father's Day Car Show". This is an event to help raise funds for the Australian Legacy, with the hopes for this to be the inaugural event and each year to be bigger and better.
The show will be held one week before Father's Day on the 27th August 2017, at Prendiville Catholic College in Ocean Reef.
There will be some classic cars shown from various car dealers and auto collector clubs throughout Perth and is also opened to anyone (incl. non-members of clubs) to come and take part by showing their own vintage or hot-rod car or bike.
So, if you are a car lover, enthusiast or just love to look at cars, this is a great event to come and bring your Dad, Granddad, Uncle or just the whole family to see some classics. It will be a great day out and Lachlan has even made sure there will be food and coffee vans there for refreshments.
If showing your car, it needs to be in place by 9:45am, so get there early - entrance is on Constellation Drive, Ocean Reef.
Show begins at 10am and runs through to 2pm. Entry fees for anyone who wishes to show their vehicle is $5 for cars and $2 for Motorcycles. For anyone else just wanting to come have a look, the entry is $1.
All profits made on this day are donated to Legacy. This charity is a voluntary organisation set up to help the Australian men, women and families of our Defence Force Service in our community who may need help and support.
If you would like any more information on this event or want to donate or even take part by showing your pride and joy, please contact - Lachlan Vance at email@example.com
Let's all get behind Lachlan to help support him in his quest to make a difference for our service men and women by coming along to this great event.
