Classes for Seniors Wanting Something to Do

So you are "suddenly" over 55, and perhaps you have retired or are about to retire, and do not know what to do with some of those days that can turn out very long?
This list will give you some idea of things you "could" do with your precious time, and guide you to the people and places you would like to mix with.
Sometimes, it is possible to just do one lesson or session, without paying for a whole series, and in this way, you would get some idea if it is really an activity that you would like to spend your time doing.
I hope that this list will bring you a lot of pleasure, and heaps to do outside your home, should you so desire!
This is an example ONLY of what is available for seniors, and I cannot list each shire as the article would be too long. You therefore simply contact your Shire, or find them online and check what courses and times are available in your particular area, and take it from there!
All shires have some sort of programme as long as they have a library or similar where they can hold events and things of this nature.
I have chosen the Cockburn Shire to illustrate some of the programmes that a Council MAY run, as Cockburn have a good "mix" of courses on offer.
