Fiesta of Fun and Food
Returning for the third year, the popular Claremont Quarter's Carnival Night Kitchen is back again to celebrate all things Rio. Running for three Thursday evenings, the Carnival Night Kitchen will be held on Thursday 6th, Thursday 13th and Thursday 20th March, 2014, between 6pm and 9pm.
This South American inspired food markets will feature food trucks and stalls full of delicious food, plus pop-up cocktail bars, live entertainment, childrens activities, competitions, prizes and much more.
Here's a sneak-peek at some of the tasty treats on the Carnival Night Kitchen menu - Nimrod's Argentinean Peri Free Range Wings and Chilean jamon red wine beef ribs, Comida do Sul's Brazilian food truck, La Paletas Mexican ice treats, Pizza Queen's Brazilian pizzas and tapas, Arepas Venezuelan's Arepas and Cachapas - and there will be so much more.
Kids will have loads of fun at the Carnival Night Kitchen too. Pinata Making Workshops will be held from 4pm till 5.30pm, - Each child will get to make their very own Pinata and fill it with goodies to take home. Or how about joining the Mad Mex Holy Guacamole! Mexican Workshops, from 4pm till 5.30pm, - Kids can learn how to make tasty guacamole and healthy burritos. Both of these are free events but places are limited so it's a good idea to register to reserve a place.
So, gather all your friends and family and come along to the Claremont Quarter to enjoy a relaxing and fun-filled evening at the Carnival Night Kitchen.
