This 34th Clare Valley Gourmet Weekend will showcase 36 wineries, two breweries and a large number of regional restaurants. There will be special events including degustation lunches and dinners, a gourmet farmers market, competitions, masterclasses and educational activities.

If you have managed to get Friday away from work, head up the Valley a little earlier and enjoy some of the great opening day special events, well before the crowds arrive. There will be drinks, tastings, food and music at a range of locations.

Or start your weekend on Friday at 5 pm at the Gateway to Gourmet Weekend special event at the Clare Valley Wine Food & Tourism Centre, 8 Spring Gully Road, Clare. Wines will be available at 'Happy Hour' prices and meals available for purchase. While there, purchase your gourmet glass or survival kit which includes a bottle of water, muffin, packet of Pangkarra Bean Mix snack, rain poncho and Hydralyte sachet. Kits are $10 and entry to the event is free.

Saturday provides so many events to choose from, you are going to have difficulty choosing. Join in Stoked - Hellfire Cooking with Seed Winehouse & Kitchen at Shut the Gate or maybe join a master class at Taylors Wines .

On Sunday you could indulge in Italian street food at Four Play in the Valley @ Woodvale or maybe Indulge in Aussie Tucker with a Gourmet Twist at Eldredge Vineyards.

Throughout the weekend, find your way to the Clare Showgrounds for the Gourmet Hub and Clare Valley Cuisine Gourmet Market.

Bookings are essential for many events, so head to the website, find your event and book online.
