Clare Valley Cabins is a great place for a family holiday. These self contained cabins in beautiful bush settings offer quality affordable accommodation that is child and pet friendly.
At Clare Valley Cabins, there are 8 two bedroom cabins each with a fully equipped kitchen, Weber Q BBQ, wood heater, reverse cycle air conditioner and flat screen TV. The cabins offer everything you need. The beds are comfortable; complete with good quality sheets, doona and electric blankets for the cold winter nights. The lounge room has plenty of seating if you are spending the night in around the wood fire. The bathrooms have shower and bath, important if you are holidaying with young children or if you feel like soaking in a tub with a good book.
And, on a cold dry winter night you will really appreciate the fire pit outside each cabin. The cabins are on a large property and holidaymakers are able to collect wood and have a camp fire (in season) pretty much at their own front door. Last, but not least, as the property is pet friendly, each cabin also has a dog kennel.
You really do get the feeling of space and privacy as the majority of the cabins are situated approximately 25m away from each other, something you never get in a caravan park. The views from the cabins are stunning and this certainly aids in developing that relaxed holiday feeling.
The fantastic cabins really are just the icing on the cake at Clare Valley Cabins though. The real jewel of this holiday location is the awesome property. The cabins are situated on a 52 acre property containing significant areas of natural bush. There is a games shed with table tennis table, pool table and bikes available for riding. There is also a small play area on the property. Believe me; you will have no trouble with bored youngsters here. The kids will find plenty of amusement exploring the property, climbing trees, collecting wood, building cubbies, riding bikes, playing in the games area and visiting the pet goat 'Jackie'. There is also a large chess board and bocce pit where the whole family can get involved in playing.
In the afternoon, after a day spent visiting some of the fantastic wineries in the region, you will be able to sit by your fire and enjoy a glass of fine wine knowing your children are having a great time exploring the bush. During our couple of days, we saw kangaroos and possums on the property.
If you are feeling quite energised, the property is only a short ride along the Riesling Trail from the town of Clare and Lake Inchiquin. If the bike ride leaves you with a few sore muscles then you are at the right place, as Erica is accredited in massage, acupressure and Reiki. Complete the truly relaxing holiday experience by getting Erica to massage the last of those work day pressures away or loosen those tight bike riding muscles.
There really is plenty to see and do in the Clare Valley and the Clare Valley Cabins are the perfect spot to stay to explore the area.
