Reality Bandit, a comedy show written and performed by German comedian CJ Delling, is a humorous look at the mundane problems we all face in our daily lives. Covering topics such as dating, her move from Australia to Germany, learning the basics of 'beach culture', and her struggles trying to understand Australian English, CJ provides an entertaining comedy show that everyone can relate to.
With a weekly segment on SBS Radio's German News, CJ entertains audience with her matter-of-fact way of looking at reality. I particularly liked her story of trying to understand what a friend meant when they said "I don't mean to piss in your pocket, but I really like your shoes". Lasting for approximately an hour, the show is a humorous look at the experiences of a German girl in a country that lives up to its reputation for being unique.
CJ is also a cartoonist and runs workshops using comedy as a tool. If her comedy show is anything to go by, her workshops are bound to have that effortless humour that is characteristic of her nature. Over the next few months, CJ will be doing a variety of shows across Sydney (go to
