If you are someone who loves to play pool or are willing to learn how to play, Civic Pub located on Lonsdale Street in Braddon is the best place to go to. It has a room full of pool tables - each game costs $2.

You can select the song of your choice by selecting it from the machine after inserting a $1 coin. Civic Pub is my favourite hangout spot since I love to play games and especially pool. I never have to wait for a pool table since there are so many around. Moreover, I can peek at the game of other players around me. Not all are professionals, most people come here to play for fun and not for serious competitions. On weekdays it is not so crowded, however, it gets busy on weekends.

At one end, there is a fireplace with comfy leather sofas where you can sit and relax.

There is a sitting area outside the pub where you can enjoy the weather while having some drinks from the bar inside.

The menu offers assorted items for lunch, dinner and snacks. I love to snack on nachos from here while playing pool.

If you visit the place once you will want to revisit again!

For those of you who are under 18, make sure to take your ID with you to show at the gate.
