People watch in the sun
Civic Park in North Sydney is such a pretty spot to have a picnic lunch with colleagues, a place for kids to play or even exercise if you're up for it.
Strolling up from North Sydney station, it took me almost 10 minutes to walk up the hill. Just passing North Sydney Council Chambers sits this beautiful park. I sat on the grassy hill right in front of the Stanton Library enjoying the sun, beautiful trees and fresh air.
North Sydney's popular Twilight Food Fair in Civic Park is on 5.30pm to 9.30pm, from November to the end of daylight savings. It is a popular Friday evening 'hot food' market with international food stalls, noodles, and good music. You can bring a rug, a friend and a bottle of wine and enjoy a relaxed start to the weekend.
