is one of the biggest skate parks in Adelaide, and the only skate park in the CBD. Often known as City Sk8, the park is on North Terrace and is often filled with skaters and BMX riders at all hours of the day.

You can show off your skating skills at the skate park by trying out all of its different features. There is a funbox, steps and blocks, seat grinds, and ramps. The park is suitable for both advances and beginner skaters. If you want to have a go at City Skate you'll have to make sure you've got protective gear, and it is best for younger children to be supervised by a parent. There are seats for watching that parents can use, but these are also popular with other spectators. Often people will hang around the skate park just to watch other people's skills.

The skate part is close to the city centre, so you've got all of the great city facilities at your fingertips. If you don't feel like walking, the skate park is at the City West tram stop, this gives you an easy and free way to get to the Rundle Mall area if you're looking for somewhere to grab some lunch. If you're at the skate park you can also use the basketball hoop for a friendly game in the city centre, this means that those who aren't so skilled can still have a good time.

There are toilet facilities at the skate park, like the skate park these are open 24 hours a day. This means that you can skate at any hour of the day. Most skate parks are only open during daylight hours, or until 9pm, but you can always head to City Skate. City skate ensures that it provides a safe environment regardless of when you are skating, there are large flood lights to make sure that the area is well lit and security cameras to make sure that the park is monitored. There is also a police call button to make sure that any trouble can be fixed fast.

So grab your board or your bike, and head to city skate. If you're walking down North Terrace stop off here to just watch others show what they're made of. City skate is one of the best skate parks in the whole state and is a focal point of the city centre.

If you're into BMX riding rather than skating, then you should also check out the Kurrangga BMX track in the Southern Parklands.
