To showcase City Recital Hall’s new flexible spaces, world-class acoustics, lighting, visual effects, and more, doors were opened this week for a special event to celebrate its reimagining. The event, Sydney Sounds Better, saw the space come to life with performances from members of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Sydney Philharmonia Choirs, Vera Blue, Kee’ahn and Pat Carroll. As well as experiencing the versatility, ease of access and world-class amenities of City Recital Hall, visitors are spoilt for choice with restaurants, bars and cafes right on the doorstep of the venue.

Upcoming events at City Recital Hall offer a diverse range of entertainment, including classical, contemporary and opera performances as well as films and talks. The venue is also available for hire, including for live performances and corporate events.
