Free Family Entertainment Has Never Been So Much Fun
Planning family weekends which take everyone's needs into account can sometimes pose a challenge which even the most savvy PR person would balk in terror at. After all, what passes as entertainment for a ten-year-old is generally a bit boring for an adult, and vice versa.
The City of South Perth, however, has kindly solved this weekly dilemma for one day, at least, by once again holding their fabulous Fiesta Fun Day on Sunday 17th March 2013, at the George Burnett Leisure Centre on Manning Road at Karawara. Beginning at 10am and extending until 2pm, this year's line-up of activities and entertainment is bigger and better than ever before, and will be sure to keep every member of the family happy and occupied.

With an emphasis on healthy, energetic activities, the fiesta offers a terrific assortment of games and activities for people of all ages and fitness levels including mini golf, a bouncy castle, laser tag, an obstacle course, a climbing wall and rides on a vintage fire engine. Throughout the day, the George Burnett Leisure Centre will also be holding sports activities, while Momentum Skate Shop will be organising skate clinics and mini competitions, so be sure to bring along your scooter or skateboard. Staying fit has never been so much fun, and the best thing about the Fiesta Fun Day is that everything is absolutely free of charge. It's therefore an event which you definitely can't miss.
For those who are less energetic, more sedentary activities are also being offered including art workshops, kite-making and face-painting. In addition, there's some awesome entertainment up on the stage throughout the day. The Scitech team will be presenting their cool science shows at 11am and 1pm, while the Scooby Doo Circus will perform their incredible, death-defying stunts from 12pm. Local sporting, dance and music groups will also showcase their talents throughout the day, perhaps giving other children some ideas of hobbies they'd like to try themselves.
With all the fun activities and entertainment that have been organised, this year's City of South Perth Fiesta Fun Day is definitely an event that every member of the family will enjoy. Its promotion of a healthy and active lifestyle is an invaluable message which will benefit both adults and children, and the fact that it's completely free makes it even more appealing. South Perth is a gorgeous area, so why not pack a picnic lunch and make a day of it. Alternatively, refreshments can be purchased at the fiesta site.
