Showcasing 79 local & WA emerging & professional artists

The annual City of Rockingham 2021 Art Awards recognises artistic achievement in a range of categories and this year's event is set to showcase the works of 79 talented local and Western Australian emerging and professional artists.

Held from Saturday 1 May to Sunday 16 May 2021, 9 am to 4 pm daily at the Gary Holland Community Centre and Rockingham Arts Centre, this year's artworks explore the timely theme of 'Connection'.

Expect a diverse display of different styles and mediums, across multiple Awards categories.

To hear insights about the exhibited artworks, come along to the Twilight Tour, presented by Curator, Jude van der Merwe and one of the judges.


The Twilight Tour will take place on Wednesday 5 May, from 5.30 pm to 7 pm, starting at the Rockingham Arts Centre.

Registration is essential for the tour as places are limited. Contact the City on 9528 0333 or email customer@rockingham.wa.gov.au to register your place.

A Treasure of Memories by Shorena Laue

All visitors to the exhibition are invited to submit their vote for the People's Choice Award to go in the running to win the $250 Voter's Prize.
