City of Prospect 'Successful Composting' Workshop

Composting is a fantastic activity. It improves soil quality and garden vitality by releasing rich nutrients into the soil and suppresses plant diseases and pests, reducing the need for chemical fertilisers and manures.

However, for those of us who don't know where to start or whose compost is not healthy, the City of Prospect is offering a 1.5 hour Successful Composting Workshop on Saturday 20 March 2021 from 10.30 am.



This fun workshop hosted by Alan Shepard will give you an in-depth look at composting and everything you need to know to either get your compost started or healthier and how to keep it thriving.

The free workshop will be held in the Prospect Community Garden, Willcox Avenue, Prospect, and as space is limited, organisers ask that you only register if you are absolutely sure you can attend.
