The City of Playford is gearing up with plenty of events for the upcoming July 2017 school holidays. There will be various sports clinics, hobby classes, educational shows, a cooking class and a market. All are free but bookings are essential via their website.
Whether it's soccer, Aussie rules, tag archery or tennis, your kids will surely be kept active between the 10th and 20th of July. These sports clinics are an excellent way to try something new. All skill levels are welcome.
Active Ed will be making clocks and teaching about kites on the 11th and 14th of July respectively. Your kids will be able to build their very own clock and construct a kite in these workshops.
Inspired by the current Masterchef TV series? How about a cooking class for your kids on the 12th of July? They will be taught simple and healthy recipes.
On the 13th of July, your kids can either get hands on with twelve friendly native wildlife animals at the Animal Show or come along in pyjamas for a Bedtime Storytime session where fruit and warm chocolate milk will be provided.
The Elizabeth Rise Community Market will be held on the 14th of July with plenty to do for the whole family. The adults can browse the stalls while the kids can enjoy some craft, face painting and games.
Digger Dog will be at the Winter Welly Show on the 18th of July. Your kids can warm up with loads of singing and dancing.
Finally, on the 20th of July, Dr Luca will be presenting a fun and engaging lecture on weird and wonderful creatures in the animal kingdom. Your kids will be entertained and educated both at the same time.
