A spectacular festival of Christmas events in Perth’s CBD
We may not have the white snow, the cold weather or chimneys for Santa to climb down, but Perth still knows how to transform into a winter wonderland during summer. The City of Perth's Festival of Christmas will run from 18th November through to 23rd December, plus the city Christmas decorations will be on show until Thursday, 5th January 2017. Here's what's happening at this year's Festival.

Turning on the Christmas Lights
The Festival of Christmas will get underway with Turning on the Christmas Lights on Friday, 18th November between 6:00pm and 9:30pm, with the lights to be turned on between 7pm and 7:45pm. This free family event will begin with a stage show before Perth Lord Mayor Lisa Scaffidi and a very special guest, Santa Claus, turn on more than 100,000 Christmas lights and decorations.
Address: Forrest Place, Murray Street Mall, Perth.
Date: Friday, 18th November between 6pm and 9:30pm.
