Aus Day goes off with a bang
It's time to celebrate the best parts of Australia, with your friends and family. There are so many different things to do on your Australia Day, and although it may not be for everyone, the Perth City of Lights Show will be a sure fire hit for families and especially for children.
This free event is brought to you by Hancock Prospecting, and everyone is welcome. Not only will there be a fireworks display, but there will also be an incredible drone performance. This will be later, but to start with, there will be the Birak Concert from 3pm. There will be concerts and performances from local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.
There will also be rides and games to keep people entertained. There will also be community stalls. As well as all of this incredible entertainment, there will also be food markets to keep you going until the end of the night.
This is going to be a very popular free event, so make sure to get there early to nab a spot on the foreshore and have the best spot to see everything. Officially, this event starts at 3pm, and will go on until 9pm. The drones and fireworks begin at about 8pm. The 15 minute fireworks display will end at 8:15pm and then the 30 minute drone performance will begin. Consider taking public transport, as the roads and carparks will be both busy and also some roads will be closed.
