Experience the history of trains and traveling circuses
Have some fun with the Ringmaster
Can you juggle on a moving train? Or cartwheel from carriage to carriage? The Workshops Rail Museum at Ispwich is hosting The Circus Train, a themed display showing the history of the circus in Australia and its relationship with trains.
Maybe learn to juggle with Clown
This September - October School Holidays why not have some fun with the Ringmaster and Clown in Action Alley? Or decorate your own circus hat and tie to wear ringside at Creation Super Station? The Workshops Rail Museum have organised plenty of Circus entertainment and there will be circus musical instruments to play as well.
Smaller kids (over 1 year old) will be able to ride the miniature circus train ($3) and older kids might be interested in seeing how a real steam train works on the heritage steam train tour.
On Wednesday, October 3rd, a special themed Circus Train Steam Train will depart for scenic Grandchester - as you board this heritage steam train, you can imagine you are actually part of a travelling circus en route to the next performance.
