You may think you know what a circus is, but be prepared to have your preconceptions challenged when the crazy canine circus, Circus Ringbarkus, brings its acclaimed production to Castle Hill in March.
Billed as 'Australia's Funniest Travelling Dog Show,' Circus Ringbarkus is a funny and furry legend in the circus world. They have toured Australia for the past 15 years, including five sold-out seasons at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, which is no small achievement.
In a crazy 90-minute show you'll be thoroughly entertained by the antics presented by this circus in miniature. It's a delightful presentation by one family – Ruth and Paul Stanton along with their children and beloved family pets – for your family.
Of course the real stars of the show are those clever canine cuties, rescued from dog pounds around Australia, whose performances will amaze you. But theirs are not the only animal antics on display. You'll also be introduced to Australia's only performing chickens. Yes, that's right – performing chickens.
I went to this show on the week-end at it was good fun. Great family entertainment and perfect for young kids. I wish the dogs had done more though and as for the chickens...well they were very cute but didn't do much. Then again I didn't really expect them to.
Oh, and the popcorn is yummy.
