Two darling friends of mine took me to a café in Parramatta for brekkie on a lazy Saturday morning, which was no less than a "hidden gem in Parramatta" as quoted by them.
Hidden it is, and gem indeed, Circa Espresso Café has now topped my list of cafes in Parramatta, and daresay Sydney too. Situated at 21 Wentworth Street, Parramatta, the décor is a mix of grunge and industrial look with graffiti wall and cosy little seating arrangements create a warm atmosphere.
It's menu boasts of an array of specialty coffees and lovely aromatic tea. Breakfast menu comprises of a variety of options like banana bread with passion fruit butter, the usual suspects like bacon n egg, baked eggs, muesli, sourdough breads etc.

I, being a vegetarian was initially not expecting much because normally Aussie brekkie does not consist of many vegetarian options, but was pleasantly surprised with menu offerings. I ordered Portobello mushrooms with pesto, rocket, walnuts and Gorgonzola dolce, which was heavenly and struck the right chords of taste buds. The coffees and honey soaked soy tea gave a perfect finish to a breakfast on a lazy Saturday morning.
