Geelong's cinema
Village Cinemas is Geelong city's resident movie hub. Situated at 194 - 200 Ryrie St in the middle of the city, Village has 9 cinemas and 2 Gold class cinemas.

If you have an insatiable appetite for popcorn when it comes to movie watching there are two confectionery stalls available at your pleasure, with one upstairs and the other downstairs; the store upstairs has a tendency to be closed, so your best bet is to stock up at the one down stairs. If you are looking for something more substantial to eat, one of the benefits of the cinema's location is that it is near a number of eateries nearby, ranging from McDonald's to the fancy restaurant, Lipari.

If you are interested in contacting the cinema the number is 1300 555 400. The session times can be accessed by going to the Village Cinema website, by ringing the cinema or by going there in person. If traveling there by car there are a number of options afforded to you. The best bet is either the parking underneath the cinema or the church parking lot. There is also parking at Market Square.

If you are looking for something different, there is also Readings Cinemas in Waurn Ponds, which is generally regarded to be a more luxurious alternative. Waurn Ponds is part of a small mall complex that is full of a variety of shops, there is also a pizza restaurant next to the cinema that serves quality food.

So if you want a lazy night of entertainment or need to see the latest blockbuster try Village or Readings.
