Cinema Under the Stars is run at 16 different locations and although this event has already started, it goes right through until February 2019, so there is plenty of time to go to see these two movies!

Newcastle Permanent's Cinema Under the Stars is Australia's largest FREE outdoor cinema program, which has been running for 12 years now. This will be on during the warmer months at locations across regional New South Wales, where there will be blockbuster movies, talented musicians, circus workshops at some, children's activities and family-friendly entertainment, which will all be on in the one evening!

[b]Cinema Under the Stars - Port Macquarie[/b]

This Friday night will have the incredible open-air screening of blockbuster musical, [i]The Greatest Showman[/i] As well as the movie, there will be a local musician, touring talent, circus workshops and kids activities before the movie screens at sundown.

This is the story of P.T. Barnum, a showman on a mission for fame. However he gambles his whole world and all his money on the Swedish opera star, Jenny Lind. Things then get out of hand and this tells of how this man rose from nothing to create a worldwide sensation.



This movie will also be on at Lismore, Port Macquarie, Forster, Orange, Dubbo, Newcastle, Maitland, Central Coast, Coffs Harbour, and Armidale

[i]Paddington 2[/i] is a delightful movie for the whole family, where Paddington is happily living with the Brown family in Windsor Gardens.

He becomes a popular member of the community, who spreads joy and marmalade wherever he goes! While he is out looking for the perfect gift for his favourite Aunt Lucy's 100th birthday, Paddington sees a unique pop-up book in Mr. Gruber's antique shop. He then goes about getting odd jobs in order to save money to buy this book, but then the book is stolen and it is up to Paddington and the Browns to find out who the thief is.
