Do you fancy Korean movies?

How about Korean movie with an introduction by a film expert, tasty Korean snack, and an exciting cultural activity with the opportunity to meet new awesome Korean friends, all for FREE?

The Korean Cultural Office in Sydney is sponsor of Cinema in the Park, a free Korean film night held every Thursday at the Arirang Hall of the Korean Cultural Office, 255 Elizabeth Street, Sydney, which is close to either Museum or Town Hall stations.

Fear not if you do not speak Korean. All films are English subtitled. (Well, you can enrol in the FREE Korean language classes if you want to learn the language too, but basic English reading skills would be enough to enjoy the movies). Doors (and the snack bar) open at 6:00PM, and the film screening starts at 6:30PM. Note that entry is not allowed after 7:00PM.

It would be best to book in advance for your seat or cushion, which also secures your free snack and drink. Bookings are open 2 weeks prior to the screening date, and could be made by calling (02) 8267 3477 or online through this link .

For March 2014, the line-up is of "crime thrillers that pack a punch and heist hits with a comic twist." The schedule is as follows:

Montage (March 13)
A Company Man (March 20)
Running Turtle (March 27)
