Adelaide Youth Theatre Company presents 'Disney's Cinderella Kids' playing at The Star Theatre April 24th until April 28th. Based on the 1950 Disney film it follows the story of Cinderella, a young girl who lives happily with her father but when her father decides to remarry, she gains a new mother and two new stepsisters. The show will feature two casts of talented actors, the Tiara and The Wand casts.
Sadly her father passes away and with her stepmother in charge, Cinderella becomes more of a slave than a daughter, doing the cleaning, washing and making all the meals. She hopes one day her life will get better, then she hears the Palace is throwing a ball, and every eligible maiden of the land is invited. Cinderella, together with the help of her fairy godmother, attends the ball, meets the Prince and falls in love but the godmother's magic is only till midnight, so she disappears before the Prince finds out who she was. He searches far and wide for the maiden, who fits a glass slipper he finds on the stairs of his castle, and they live happily ever alter.
It will feature all your favourite songs including " "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes", "Sing Sweet Nightingale", "The Work Song", "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo", and "So This is Love. Don't miss your chance to see this Disney classic come to life at The Star Theatre this April.
