I am always looking out for new experiences, wherever I may find myself.

It's not often you get something for free anymore and a night of free entertainment and laughs is something you should grab with both hands. Chuckle Head Comedy provides just that every Saturday night from 7.00pm to 9.00pm.
The event takes place at Ton Up Cafe and Bar, which has a friendly rockabilly vibe and is uniquely located within the Rocker Classic Motorcycles Shop. If you ever visit during the day, you'll find it's always loaded with motorbikes outside.
Rocker Classic Motorcycles Shop is the home of Ton Up Cafe and Bar, so there are always motorbikes outside during the day
Inside is a small, laid-back space with a pool table and a corner cleared for the band, or, on comedy nights, the comedians. Tables and lounges are typically filled with people, but the seats up front are a little barer, perhaps because no-one wants to be targeted by one of the acts.
The comedy was pretty good on the night I attended and the crowd was good even when it wasn't. Comedians range from regulars on the Brisbane comedy scene to less established talents (in fact, if you want to have a go yourself, prepare up to five minutes of material and sign up for one of the up-and-comer slots available most weeks from 6.30pm on the night).
For those who just want to remain in the audience, boutique craft beers are available on tap at the bar, as well as bottled beers and cocktails. Outside the comedy show hours, the bar is open from 5.00pm to 9.00pm on Fridays, 12.00pm to 9.00pm on Saturdays and 11.00am to 8.00pm on Sundays.
If you want to come back during the day and enjoy the cafe, it's open weekdays from 7.30am to 5.00pm and until 1.00pm on Saturday.
