Haig Park Village Markets and the City Renewal Authority are really going all out with the Christmas spirit and have a huge and wonderful event planned for all. If this doesn't give you all the festive feels, nothing will. The is not going to be just a market. It's going to be a wonderland of experiences to remember over three separate days on 5, 12 and 19 December 2021 from 9am to 2pm at Haig Park, Braddon.

You could pack a picnic and make a day of it with the family; meet Santa, have a relaxing drink, shop for the perfect gift from local makers and sit back and enjoy the Canberra Symphony Orchestra on stage. It wouldn't be Christmas without Christmas carols, and they will be performed by the Canberra Chordsmen a cappella chorus, plus Christmas medleys by the string quintet Scribly Strings. Get your vocals ready to sing along.

The market stalls will be taking on the festive theme with fresh produce, Christmas hams, artisan products, mince pies, puddings, handmade jewellery, Christmas decorations and more. Kids will have activities like crafting their own gingerbread ornaments to hang on the tree or just hang with Santa. Come along and stroll, shop and explore for that unique gift for someone special, while enjoying the festive atmosphere and a sense of community, while being entertained.
