Brass band plays carols to delighted crowd.
Surprised by harmonious and heavenly singing in the city heart? The Toowoomba Regional Council has outdone itself with their Christmas street party in conjunction with the turning on of the Christmas lights.The Town Hall's decorations and Christmas tree delighted all ages, with Santa on the balcony and a glowing nativity on the lawn. The official tree lighting also took place, plus more lovely lights in the nearby Kwong Sang Walk, Ruthven Street.
In the city centre several groups sang or played carols with a bright and cheerful brass band and kiddies in dazzling red sequins who charmed the crowds with their cute moves.
The Helen Earley Ensemble gave a world-class performance in the city heart.
The Helen Early Ensemble is a well known local choir who performed the Hallelujah Chorus as well as carols, with world-class ability. Sought after for fundraisers and other events the ensemble was formed in 1988.
Bush Christmas markets 2015
The Bush Christmas markets either side of the Toowoomba Regional Art Gallery also hosted Sing Australia performing Christmas carols. A jumping castle created lots of happy squeals.
