Christmas for my family usually consists of about 20 of us all getting together at someone's house squished around a much too small table and enjoying a roast turkey. Last year, we decided to do something different and celebrate our annual get together at the Stamford Plaza, Adelaide.

Food was a buffet and we paid around $100 each. I must say that the ambience was lovely with everyone receiving a glass of eggnog on arrival. Passing the buffet we were all VERY keen to begin eating.

We were seated at a big long table up the back and had plenty of space. We had a few children with us and high chairs were provided and the they even received a very exciting visit from Father Christmas!

The quality and variety of the food was excellent and well worth the money. The dessert table was definitely a favourite with the three diabetics even being naughty and returning for a second helping.

The staff were very well trained in the wine list and provided great customer service including taking a few family photos on various family member's cameras.

Definitely recommend for Christmas this year and the best part, no cleaning up!
