The Adelaide Festival Centre presented Christmas Proms 2018 at Adelaide Festival Theatre on December 14 at 10:00am and 7:30pm playing until December 15th at 2:00pm & 6:30pm. Christmas Proms is a Christmas tradition for a lot of families - it's a beautiful show dedicated to Christmas and every year is different. 2014 was a Swinging Christmas Prom, 2015 was A Magical Christmas Prom, 2016 was Christmas Proms with a 1920's Gatsby twist, 2017 was A World of Christmas.

Christmas Proms 2018 will feature performances by Lucy Durack (Wicked, Wizard of Oz), Jan Di Pietro (The Producers, Boy from Oz) and Sean Mulligan (Jersey Boys, Tap Pack) along with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Guy Noble.

Don't forget your singing voice as you will be a songbook to join in. One tradition at every Christmas prom is to sing 'Twelve Days of Christmas' and the audience has their own verse. Enjoy a heart-warming concert series featuring popular Christmas songs and traditional carols.

Every year the songs are different but The 2017 Christmas Prom featured 'Rocking Around The Christmas Tree', 'Noel Noel', 'Jingle Bells', 'Deck The Halls', 'Rudolf The Red Nosed Reindeer' and 'I'll be Home for Christmas'.
