St Paul's Anglican Church Hosts Family Events
St Paul's Anglican Church is situated at 124 Brisbane Road, Ipswich was built between 1855 and 1929. In October 1992, the church was added to the Queensland Heritage Register as it demonstrates a rare example of a church built prior to separation and contains the oldest pipe organ in the state. The church occupies an entire block in city's CBD and includes a church hall, church, rectory, gardens and perimeter limestone walls.
The church's aim is to foster a community with the city striving to build strong relationships with family and friends while also helping to teach each other the love of the Lord. Through these values, the church holds community events throughout the year where everyone is welcome to attend. The events are always listed on their website; however, please see below the events to be held at the church before the end of 2018.
This event will be held at the Church on Sunday 11th November 2018 from 4.00 to 5.00pm. The cost is $15.00 per adult and student. Children are free. Tickets are available at the door by cash only.
The hour will include a collection of classical music by Bach, Widor,Bartholdy, Brahm and Alain played by David, who is a World-renowned organist. David was born in Canberra and studied Organ Performance at the Conservatorium of Music in Frosinoine, Italy with Concezio Panone. During this period, he also studied composition with Luca Salvadori. He was awarded a Diploma in Organ with full marks and distinction in 2012. In 2011, David began a solo career and now performs regularly in Italy and Europe. St. Paul's Anglican Church is very fortunate to be hosting this event for the entertainment of all.
Christmas Music Festival

This festival will be held on Friday 7th December 2018 from 7.30pm. It will be a night of entertainment featuring the Brisbane Excelsior Band along with soloists Alyssa Gessler on Harp, Julie Sibley, Soprano and Dr Phillip Gearing on organ as well as the West Moreton Anglican College Chorale Choir and Musical Director Neil Flottmann. The night will bring you a mixture of brass band and instrumental musical solos, Christmas choral items and Christmas carols.
Tickets for this event will cost $30.00 for Adults, Concession $25 and Family $70.00. Children under 5 years are free. You can purchase your tickets at the Parish Office from Tuesday to Friday 9.00am to 2.00pm or online via TryBooking.
Complimentary refreshments will be served during the interval.
