Browse, eat and relax at Christmas Markets
Europe is renowned for their Christmas markets. Although we lack the cold winter frost and white snowflakes here in Australia during the December period, Perth residents and tourists can also browse our Christmas markets - albeit more comfortably under the warm summer sun.

If you are stuck on what to buy for your loved ones for Christmas and would like to buy one-of-a-kind handicraft goods, the markets are the best place to search for that elusive item.
The best thing about markets is that you never know what you are going to get until you actually get there. The atmosphere at the markets is usually charged with energy from the crowds along with live entertainment, creating a bustling exciting environment. Held on the 11th of December at the Perth Cultural Centre from 4pm to 10pm, treat yourself to live music on the Wetland stage as well as sixty exciting local stalls. 3) Perth Home Grown
Held in the heart of Perth, you cannot miss the Perth Home Grown markets if you are shopping around the Perth CBD on a Sunday. From the 1st of November to the 20th of December, shop for fresh organic produce at Murray Street Mall and be entertained by talented home grown acts while you browse the ware at a leisurely pace. Stalls change weekly so feel free to stop by every week to check out what is on offer.
If you live up north and do not want to make the drive down to the city, you have the option of visiting the Joondalup Twilight Market at Central Walk. Watch the area light up with 40 stalls selling local crafts, food and fashion for five consecutive Friday evenings leading up to Christmas from 20th November to 18th December 2015.

5) Bazaar Fremantle
Fremantle has their own annual markets in the first week of December from the 4th of December to the 6th of December. Established in 1979, the bazaar is set at the Fremantle Arts Centre's leafy front garden with 50 stall holders showcasing their wonderful wares. The Bazaar is open throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday and on Friday night, allowing you to shop under the stars in the beautiful garden setting.
