With Christmas on the gallop, please find below a list of Christmas Markets and Christmas Farmers' Markets in December. Far from the maddening crowds at shopping centres, you can shop for your unique handmade or artisan gifts for that someone special or the whole family and friends. It's a win-win for you and the small business you are supporting. Buy directly from the maker and the farmers as they bring their best produce from farm to table. The farmers markets listed are closest to Christmas so you can shop fresh direct from the land and serve the freshest of Christmas lunch or dinner at your table.

Not every single market is a Christmas Market per se, however, they are still small business, handmade, artisan goods for that perfect gift that can be put in that Christmas stocking. Highlights of each event will be listed, however, I urge you to follow the links and pay mind to full details of each event via their individual links. Find events listed in date order at various venues as follows. Some events come complete with entertainment and even a visit from Santa. This is but a small list, with a plethora of markets available in December upon googling your local or nearby area.

A fantastic local farmers and makers market with both indoor and outdoor stalls. Lots of great produce and products, so come along and support local. Beyond December this market runs on the 3rd Sunday of the Month from Feb to Dec 8am to 1pm.

Your favourite weekend stallholders and staples plus some special festive extras will be there. This market is in lieu of the normal Saturday market scheduled for Boxing Day. This market is purely a place to efficiently get your Christmas groceries with very limited non-food items. There's no coffee or ready-to-eat food at the market.
