December is here and Love Your Local Night Markets are putting some Christmas spirit into the community. Both Hawthorne markets on the 5th and 19th of December as well as Cannon Hill on the 12th will be teaming with great experiences with a Christmas vibe.



Come along on the 5th of December at Hawthorne for movies in the park from 7pm. 'Arthur Christmas' is a fun animated movie for the whole family to enjoy. Watch as Arthur helps his father Santa save Christmas, it's sure to be a hit with the little ones. Also don't worry about packing snacks or dinner before as the markets will be filled with food and drink stalls. Everything from your favourite Churros De Oro and Pizza Antica to new additions to our markets like Little Back Food Van and Eat on Street.



Another delight for all is our special guest will be joining the markets from 6pm at both Hawthorne markets, Santa! He is sure to bring a smile to everyone.

If you still want more why not try out the 'Christmas Selfie Workshop' underneath the 'Love Your Local' sign. If you, your friends or family are looking for a great Xmas photo, Love Your Local Night Markets provide you with the material from Santa hats to reindeer ears and you can get a great snap to share!

Love Your Local Night Markets also wants to give back this Christmas with our 'Giving Tree.' You can drop a gift off for a child in need this year under our gorgeous Christmas tree created by Brandition. Love Your Local Night Markets would like to see those in need getting help as well everyone supporting the community we live in.

All this is of course coupled with great stalls for Christmas ideas from jewellery to clothing. Favourites returning include; Mee & Jen, Brazilwear and Buffalo & Beanies. As always you can grab a cold drink from the bar and listen to the live music with a touch of Christmas vibes thrown in. At Cannon Hill you have the chance to try out barefoot bowling as you watch the sun go down. With so much going on, roll on December and bring the Christmas spirit to one and all.



So, come along each Friday leading up to Christmas from 4pm to 8:30pm at either Morningside Panther Hawthorne or Cannon Hill Bowls Club.
