Be mesmerised as malls, streets and parks across Darwin and the Palmerston area are illuminated with animated lights, projections and lively festivities.

The Darwin Waterfront is bringing the magic of Christmas to life every night in December from 7pm to 10pm. Follow the trail of luminescent lights starting from the main entrance of Darwin Waterfront which will be transformed into a Tropical Waterfront Wonderland with sparkling lights and 'Twinkle Palms'. Find your way to the 'Waterfront Woodland Walk', where trees are lit with every colour imaginable. Also visit Santa's Snow Station to experience a white Christmas every half hour for 5 minutes with a snow machine display. Make a wish at the 'Christmas Tree of Lights' or take selfie at Candy Cane Lane.

Lord Mayor of Darwin, Kon Vatskalis, has turned on the lights of Christmas tree at the Mall (Bennet Street entrance). The Christmas tree is stunning at night time with lots of twinkling lights. Another massive Christmas Tree can be seen at Goyder Square Palmerston starting from 8 December 2017.

George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens also decorates its main entrance with festive lights.

If you're planning to take the kids or yourself to see the glitzy glow of houses laden with Christmas lights, glowing reindeers and everything in between, this year things will be easier as Darwin Commodore Club Inc. has provided a trail map. To get the map, please go to the Darwin Commodore Club Inc. Facebook page.
