You will be amazed

Lobethal really does light up over the Christmas season, especially the home of Bill & Peg at 5 Christmas Lane. They have been lighting up their home for 32 years and everyone is welcome to come and enjoy this wonderful display every night between dusk and 11pm during the Lights of Lobethal festival.

Bill & Peg moved to Lobethal in 1983 and started following the town's tradition of putting up lights for Christmas. They started with a single strand of lights. Now their whole home is covered in lights. They are simply passionate about their lights display and spend about half the year working on it. They indeed do an amazing job. Approximately 100,000 people visit each year for a close-up view of the display.

If you have never heard of or visited Christmas Lane, then next December is your chance. Put it in your diary and make it a point to do so. You will be amazed by the work of this truly remarkable couple Bill & Peg.
