Meet Santa and participate in Xmas carols by candle light

Christmas spirit is filling up the air at Lake Monger. Come join the Town of Cambridge in its official Christmas tree lighting on December 5th from 4:30-7:30pm. This day also marks 'Christmas at Lake Monger' festival sponsored by Lottery West and United Community. There will be lots of activities for all ages including face painting, obstacle course bouncy castle, toddler bouncy castle, and giant games such as pass the parcel, ludo, and croquet. Kite Kinetics and Kidz 'n Sport will be present to add up to the fun. Children will surely get excited with the Old MacDonald's Farm animals and ponies.

What more, there will be activities tent. This new area will hold a Constable Care puppet show and a giant climbing wall. You can also participate in making a Christmas Urban Art mural from Abnormal Designs with the local sporting heroes who you can meet and greet on the day.

That's not all. The Cambridge Choristers and the Melville AFA Brass Band will perform carols by candlelight. You can donate a gold coin for a safe flame candle and sing along. This festival will not be complete without a special appearance of Santa and a storytime with Santa's Elf.

Remarkably, the Town of Cambridge is providing the community with a free spectacular event not to be missed. Bring along the whole family to Lake Monger Reserve corner Lake Monger Drive & Gregory Street on December 5 and bring your own picnic dinner. Alternatively, don't bother with the preparation and instead purchase a sausage sizzle organised by the West Leederville Residents Association. Cold drinks will also be available for purchase from WA Little Athletics. Sausage sizzle not enough? Not to worry. There will also be other food and drink vendors at the event. A free parking to the festival is available off Gregory Street.
