Free family fun with Jimmy Giggle, Tim Campbell & Santa
Christmas in the Park is a free Christmas community festival hosted by Moreton Bay Regional Council. For one evening Pine Rivers Park will be filled with festive magic, featuring carnival rides, markets, kids activities, stage performances and fireworks. This year's event will be on Saturday 28th November 4-8pm.

Enjoy browsing the market stalls throughout the afternoon to fulfil your Christmas wish list. Toys, crafts and delicious baked goodies always seem to be popular here. Food vendors will also be joining the markets serving snacks and dinner treats.
The highlight for kids will be a visit to Santa's Village. For a gold coin donation kids will be able to cuddle the baby animals, join in a kids Christmas craft workshop, or get their face painted. Of course no visit to Santa's Village would be complete without saying hi to the jolly old fellow himself. Parents are welcome to take their own Santa snapshots as there will not be a photographer present on the night.

Roving performers will be keep the crowds entertained along with action on stage. Jimmy Giggle will begin the stage show from 4pm, followed by a various local and popular acts including PRIMA, Kris Wason, Starz Production Team, the Bananas in Pyjamas, and Tim Campbell. There will be singing, dancing, drama, magic and definitely plenty of Christmas carols. Don't forget to pack your chairs or picnic blanket, plus an extra blanket for the evening in case of a 'North Pole chill' (it often gets cold on the park flats).
The night sky over the park will light up during the fireworks finale. Every spot in Pine Rivers Park provides a terrific vantage point, and if you can't stay for the end of the party try pulling the car up near the Strathpine end of Gympie Road.
