Christmas in the Mall is a fun and free community event presented by Liverpool City Council to celebrate the beginning of the festive season. It will be held on Saturday 2nd December 2017 from midday until 9pm. To join in the fun just head down to Macquarie Mall in the Liverpool city centre.
The event will include Christmas themed markets, family fun and games, music from local artists and the all-important lighting of the Christmas tree.
Performing throughout Macquarie Mall on the day you will find some of Western Sydney's talented emerging artists. Liverpool Mayor Wendy Waller explains, "We have some amazingly talented young people in our region and we're proud to be able to offer this opportunity to perform to a wide audience. It's going to create a wonderful atmosphere for the day."
If Christmas in your family involves gift giving and presents for the kids, you're in luck. There will be a variety of market stalls set up throughout the mall to help you with your Christmas shopping.
If it is family fun you are looking for check out the offerings from Garden Games who will be bringing their over-sized games for all to enjoy. There will also be a pop-up Library, free photo booth and Christmas movies showing on the Macquarie Mall big screen to keep you entertained. If that's not enough the Liverpool City Brass Band will also be on hand to belt out some classic Christmas tunes.
