Bring the whole family to this Christmas event
Christmas in the Hills will be on again for the seventh year in a row. This function will bring joy to Bella Vista Farm on Wednesday, 12th December 2018. It will start at 4.00 pm and there will be fabulous food stalls, rides and lots of family-friendly entertainment followed by Christmas Carols from 7.00 pm until 9.00 pm. After this, the event will finish off with a spectacular fireworks display.
Helping to run the carols are St Pauls, Castle Hill, and Wesley Uniting Churches at Bella Vista Farm. They will be assisted by a 49 piece orchestra and a choir that will really make this an outstanding evening for one and all! The address for the event is Bella Vista Farm Park, 2 Elizabeth MacArthur Drive, Bella Vista.
During the event, there will be a huge range of food stalls available to satisfy all tastes and even the fussy eaters amongst you!
On again will be the ever-popular displays by The Castle Hill Police, The Mounted Police, The Rural Fire Brigade and the SES. These demonstrations will show you just how much these important organisations do so that our communities are kept safe and protected – and the children also love these displays!
Of course, there will be the animal petting zoo, which is also always a favourite of the children, and they will be able to have heaps of carnival rides and plenty of other sideshow activities which will test the skills of the young and the young at heart.
Sponsors for the event are being worked out currently for this 2018 function, and these sponsors enable the organisers to bring you a premium event for Christmas here in The Hills Shire.
The Charities for 2018 are:
Foster Care Angels - is an incorporated association and a not for profit charity. They provide programs that support young people and their carers within the NSW Foster Care System. The organisation ensures that children entering the Foster Care system feel "respected without discrimination by providing items of comfort and practicality based on clinical and psychological analysis."
Learning Links - this organisation was established back in 1972 by parents concerned about the lack of proper education and support services to meet their children's needs. Nowadays, their focus is on preventing learning difficulties from causing a disadvantage in children.
Hills Community Aid - is a community based not for profit organisation. They are established as a trusted and important avenue of assistance to all people in need, across the Hills District and Western Sydney.
The mission of this event is to celebrate the wonderful birth of a child in Bethlehem and allow the people to come together as a community. They can then celebrate the real meaning of Christmas. In addition to this, the event will give some support to a group of special charities in the community. The profits from all ticket sales will go directly to the 3 charities above.
Earlybird tickets bought before 6th November are $6 each with children aged 2 years of age and under free. You can book your tickets at this link,, as well as read more about this event.
"May the Joy of Christmas be yours forever:- Let nothing you dismay; remember Christ our Saviour, who was born on Christmas Day."
