Come along and celebrate Christmas in Sandgate on Saturday 6th December
This family-friendly free event is a great opportunity to do something fun together. So, come along and have a laugh, make some memories and snap crazy Christmas photos as keepsakes.
Participate in lantern making, the best dressed competition, grab a meal and then, warm up your vocal cords by singing along at the top of your voice while watching Disney's Frozen movie. Of course, you could just watch the movie in silence too.

So, dust off your 'Santa's helper' outfit, twinkle up your Christmas stockings and put some tinsel in your hair because Victoria Newton will be giving out prizes to the best dressed and the kids will want to look their best.
Food stalls are run by community groups (not-for-profit):
This event will be held at Einbunpin Lagoon Parklands Brighton Road, Sandgate. If wet weather hits, they have the Sandgate PCYC venue as a back up, so check out the Christmas in Sandgate Facebook page for up-to-date details.
Christmas is a time of community, connection and appreciation.
So, a very big thank you goes to all of the generous people and businesses that support this event each year, Christmas in Sandgate would not be the same without your tireless efforts.
Also, a very special thank you to Cr Victoria Newton and Brisbane City Council for supporting the community event.
