It's starting to look a lot like Christmas at Sovereign Hill!
These winter school holidays, Sovereign Hill will once again be transformed into a dazzling winter wonderland!
For two weeks, from Saturday 28th of June to Sunday 13th of July, 2014, all are invited to come along and get in the Christmas spirit; there will be traditional carols and Christmas trees and colourful decorations lining the Main Street, as snowflakes fall gently from above!
The Christmas in July event programme also includes the pantomime 'Black Beard', a reading from Charles Dickens, 'Hands-on' activities for children including gingerbread decorating and paper angel making.
In addition to the Christmas themed activities during the day, the outdoor museum will, for the first time, light up each evening, as the team behind Melbourne's White Night event creates a magical 'Christmas Wonder Lights' show.
Visitors of all ages can enjoy a full day of Christmas excitement with activities for everyone, and as the sun goes down, Sovereign Hill will light up each evening from 5.30pm
Children can explore their creative sides with 'snow play', or they can try their hand at making angels and baubles or doing some Christmas-inspired colouring activities to take home.
11:00 am – 3:30 pm daily, Horse Bazaar, Main Street.
