Luna Park Melbourne is throwing open its arms and welcoming winter these school holidays by going 'Christmas Crackers' with their over-the-top Christmas In July celebration from Saturday 25th June – Sunday 10th July 2016.
There's 'snow' much fun you won't know where to start, or end for that matter. Decorated for the winter theme and featuring magical snowfalls every hour, you might find yourself wondering if you've been transported to the North Pole, especially when Santa and his elves make a special guest appearance. That's right, Santa's coming and his reindeer (of the mechanical variety) will be on hand to offer extra special rides too. Hang out with the bouncing elves for 'tis the season to be jolly.
Don't sit at home shivering. Entry to Luna Park is FREE. Come and take a look around, have your face painted and enjoy a mince pie in The Luna Park Café. There will be all manner of Christmas inspired treats, and as part of their Christmas in July winter school holiday special, Luna Park are giving away some amazing winter prizes as part of their in-park winter contest. You've got to be there to win.
On Sunday 26th June 2016 you can catch live performances by Scrat and Sid from Ice Age, too.
Luna Park is open from 11am to 8pm Friday and Saturday and 11am – 6pm Sunday to Thursday. Entry is FREE and you can buy single ride tickets or day passes.
