Parents Without Partners Victoria (PWP), a not-for-profit organisation supporting lone parents and their children, is hosting a 'Christmas in July' social dance this July and all are welcome to join in the fun.
This special event will be held on Thursday 21st of July at Eltham Senior Citizens Hall from 7pm.
It doesn't matter if you are a novice or experienced dancer - you are more than welcome to take part and learn Rhumba, Cha Cha, New Vogue and Tango in a relaxed and social atmosphere.
Even if you don't have a partner you can come along and meet some new like-minded friends. Most of the PWP members are older members whose children have moved out of home, but you don't have to be a member or single parent to attend.
The social dance commences at 8pm and will be followed by a light supper.
If you are unable to attend on Thursday 21st of July, consider joining the weekly social dances held on selected Thursday evenings from 7pm. During the evening, guests will be invited to enjoy a dancing lesson together, where they can learn some new moves.
This is a great opportunity to regularly meet your new friends and remain activity and healthy. Every dance event offers an enjoyable evening and great company, so why not brave the chilly weather and come along.
The dress code is neat casual and admission is priced as follows: $12 per person or $8 for PWP Members (supper included).
Eltham Senior Citizens Hall is located at 903 Main Road, Eltham (Cnr. Library Place).
