Skyhigh celebrates Christmas in July with a traditional Christmas feast expected of your fairy tale Christmas. Christmas in July celebrates winter in the picturesque Dandenong ranges and takes place Monday to Friday during July with live entertainment provided including a classic trivia competition on some Wednesdays and Thursdays.
The menu is classic with a duo main of Turkey and honey glazed ham with rich gravy and seasonal vegetables. Desserts include warm Plum pudding served with tasty brandy sauce, tea and coffee and a lemon lime and bitters. Vegetarian meals can be organized with prior notice.
The meal is $26 per head and early bookings are encouraged.
Skyhigh in the Dandenong Ranges was first created as a survey point in 1861. Overtime Skyhigh has been developed into a splendid overview of Greater Melbourne. The exceptional view can be enjoyed from the Skyhigh Bistro or a popular choice is a self catered BBQ or picnic on the elevated viewing terrace.
The restaurant caters for breakfast, lunch and dinner and also provides a Sunday afternoon high tea and buffet lunch. The food is Modern Australian at its best, including a dinner menu highlighting Peppered Kangaroo, Eye fillet, glazed salmon and Calamari and prawn laksa to name a few. The lunch menu features a range of café favourites including Beef burgers, Beer battered flat head and chicken parmigana. The Kiosk is a great place to grab a coffee or hot chocolate and enjoy the view with light snacks including ice creams and a plate of thick cut fries.
Functions and weddings can also be held at Skyhigh with fabulous gardens for photographs and the ever popular Skyhigh Maze.
