All aboard for a trip down memory lane
Celebrate Christmas in July this year in a different way, by climbing aboard the restaurant train at Hotham Valley Railway and enjoying a Christmas feast as your train meanders its way through the forest.
Every Friday night during July, you can enjoy a Christmas in July evening aboard the Restaurant Train. Enjoy a 5 course Christmas dinner including traditional roast turkey and ham in addition to heartwarming Christmas pudding for dessert. Tea and coffee is also included although you will pay extra for wine and other beverages. The trip sets off from Dwellingup and takes you on a night time journey through the forest, with the train providing a soft light to look out upon. The Restaurant Train features a 1919 Vintage Dining Car in addition to its 1884 Club Car which historians will enjoy.
Make your way to Dwellingup Train Station any Friday night during July but make sure that you book your seat in advance, as the Restaurant Train strictly only caters for 46 persons in total. Details on how to book are here.. The train departs promptly at 7.45pm so make sure that you arrive with plenty of time to embark and get settled in for the night. The train arrives back at the station at approximately 10.35pm.
