Follow the hillbilly trail to the orchards of Bilpin and find the rustic shed of Hillbilly Cider waiting to entertain your senses with its upcoming Christmas in July event that will warm your soul.

Whether you’ve been longing to get away on a road trip or not, this festive celebration only 90 minutes from Sydney’s CBD will sweep you away with the atmosphere and beauty of the countryside as you indulge in great food and award-winning beverages.

A special Christmas pizza cooked in the wood-fired oven will tantalise your taste buds as will the warmth of mulled cider. Perhaps a beer or wine from the bar is more to your liking and Hillbilly Cider have plenty to entice you there too.

Roaring log fire pits will keep you warm as live music from Matt Broadhead (5pm-8pm) entertains you and an appearance from Santa will surprise the young ones. Be sure to dust off your Christmas sweater for the costume competition with prizes for the best-dressed. Entry details are below.

Hillbilly Cider will be open from 10 am to soak up the sunshine (fingers crossed), partake in some cider tasting (the crushed pear cider is amazing) and let the children run wild (dogs welcome) on the grassed area as you relax in this wonderful setting within the Blue Mountains National Park.

A gift shop is available for take-homes of alcohol and merchandise, that includes T-shirts and trucker caps.
