The
Vantage Homes 6th Annual STEPS Autism Treehouse Christmas Party is the largest event on the Sunshine Coast for young people and families, living with autism and disabilities.
The
STEPS Autism Treehouse Christmas Party has been especially created to enable families living with disabilities to enjoy a fun-filled day in a safe and supportive environment. Join families from all over south-east Queensland on the Sunshine Coast for fabulous festive fun!
With activities ranging from a sensory slime zone to a petting zoo, to receiving a gift from Santa, kids and teens are guaranteed to have the best day ever!

The 6th Annual STEPS Autism Treehouse Christmas Party entry is only $10 per person - under three's are FREE - and this very low entry fee includes
all rides and
all entertainment.

Every year the waterfront properties in Mooloolaba, Minyama and Buddina put on a spectacular Christmas lights display, which are really only visible from the 'water' and guests on the
Christmas Light Cruises have the opportunity to experience these extraordinary displays.
Every night from the 2 to 30 December,
Sunshine Coast Afloat is offering visitors a gentle, fun cruise through the river and main canals of Mooloolaba and the surrounding suburbs, to experience firsthand breathtaking lit-up Christmas scenes.
With no more than forty-eight passengers at any one time, Christmas lovers are assured of seeing
all the lights during the approximate one and a half hour cruise. The
Christmas Light Cruises set off just before nightfall, giving guests a spectacular Glasshouse Mountains sun set, before heading off to enjoy the lights.
Bring your own food and drink or pre-purchase food packs, which will be ready when guests board.

Christmas in Cooroy

Christmas in Cooroy is a free community event that is celebrated every year over the first weekend of December. The festivities start on the Friday night, at 6.45pm with the Christmas Shop Window Trail; Christmas carols and the
lighting up of the Studio Steel Christmas Tree at about 7.00pm. Keep a lookout for flurries of snow in Maple Street from 7.10pm onwards - Cooroy's weather bureau is pretty flake-on!
On the Saturday, all the Christmas fun kicks off in Apex Park at 4.00pm, with the Cooroy Bendigo Bank Street Parade; FREE rides sponsored by the Cooroy Rag; Santa Sack races; live music; food and drinks; competitions and even a visit from Santa.

Two very special
Christmas Twilight Train events have been organised in the lead up to Christmas. Steam through the Mary Valley aboard the
Mary Valley Rattler , on the 13 December and join the Friends of Amamoor's Christmas party and festivities at the Amamoor Station, before heading back to Gympie.
On the 20 December, Twilight Train guests will join the party at Dagun Station for real dinkum Aussie Bush Christmas festivities, including food trucks, a bush banquet, live music, dancing and Christmas carols.

Mooloolaba Christmas Boat Parade**

The
Mooloolaba Christmas Boat Parade is one of the most popular family events on the Sunshine Coast. Join throngs of animated spectators along the shores of the Mooloolah River and Kawana Waters canal to watch on in awe at the magnificent Christmas decorated watercraft.
Vantage points for spectators include Charles Clarke Park, The Wharf, Penny Lane and La Balsa -

Bring along some gold coins - Rosies, Friends on the Street - is the nominated charity for the Mooloolaba Christmas Boat Parade. The Rosies team will be dressed in red.
