Christmas is on its way! Where does the year go? Have you thought about what you will be doing this Christmas Day? If you are planning on ditching the washing up and having lunch at a local restaurant, then you better book in early around Newcastle and Port Stephens to get your Christmas Day sorted. Keep reading for just some of the Christmas buffets and events on offer around the region. Don your Santa hat and get into the festive spirit!

NEWCASTLE

Honeysuckle Hotel on the Hunter River will be having a Christmas Day Buffet Lunch for $175 (adults) and $60 (kids). Organise a large group of friends and family and enjoy Christmas Day by the river. Noah's on the Beach at Newcastle East will be having a 4-course lunch with a glass of sparkling wine on arrival, fresh seafood, traditional Christmas fare and of course, dessert! The cost is $195 (adult) and $79 (children 12 years and under). See here for details.

PORT STEPHENS

The Anchorage hotel at Corlette will be having 2 events on Christmas Day for both hotel guests and the public. They will be having a Christmas Day Buffet in the Galley Kitchen restaurant and a Luxe Plated 4-Course Meal at the Pier. The buffet costs $229 (adults) and $95 (child 4-12 years) and the 4-course meal costs $209 (adults) and $85 (child 4-12 years). See here for details.

Shoal Bay Country Club will be having 3 exciting options - all for the same price of $190 (adults), $140 (teens 13-17) and $70 (kids 5-12). The first option is the Whitesands Seafood Buffet with a seafood buffet, traditional Christmas favourites and a 3-hour beverage package.
